Gondi is a Dravidian language spoken in various states of central India. This dictionary belongs to the Gond (Koytur) community but it is the result of the contributions of a wide spectrum of individuals, organizations, Government Departments and universities. The Gondi entries are written in Telugu script with a Latin transliteration between slashes. Telugu, English and Hindi glosses follow (but not always) the Gondi entries. The final indexes are extremely useful. Thus, the English Section (pages 367-423) is a helpful tool with an English-Gondi (in both Telugu and Latin script) glossary.
